Visa

You’d be forgiven for seeing Visa and immediately thinking credit cards. But, truth be told, Visa doesn’t actually make credit cards. Instead, the company runs a sophisticated technology network that powers commerce around the globe. Just as an example, Visa is the force behind Venmo; its pipes facilitate many large insurance disbursements; and it’s even involved in government stimulus payments.

Working with David Glickman and Heather O’Donnell of GGLLC, we were brought in to help the VP of Brand reposition Visa. A year-long effort, we ran workshops across the company, developed a new brand strategy, and helped articulate and roll out the new story at the company’s annual leadership meeting. At the end of the effort, Visa hired W+K to help tell the new story in a global ad campaign that will hit the airwaves in 2021.
