What do you do as the world’s largest hotel chain (with 30+ unique brands) when your meetings and events business is suddenly cannibalized by AirBnb and WeWork? With all the potential meeting locations out there, who wants to hold an event in a stuffy ballroom anymore?

We were brought in to help Marriott face this challenge. Working alongside the VP of Meetings & Events, we helped to identify the differentiators for an event held on a Marriott property. We then created a manifesto for all Marriott experiences moving forward. The project included a global manifesto workshop with VPs from brands and properties around the world, and then the manifesto’s roll out across the company.
